Made You Look
“Made You Look” at 99 Sudbury was the 4 th annual Manifesto art exhibit. This year they displayed the works of both local and international artists who were both new to the scene and veterans. All participants were related to the Hip Hop culture and the works ranged from digital illustrations, paintings, photography, graffiti, and multi-medium pieces. I ( Kwame Delfish) was fortunate enough to have a piece featured which was a collaborative effort with photographer Jalani Morgan. This piece entitled “Boom Box” was originally displayed for Scotiabank Contact 2010 by Herman n’ Audrey where it came to the attention of Manifesto organizers.
Opening night was a huge success as the venue hit or exceeded capacity several times throughout the evening. Manifesto did a great job lining up an array of dj’s and hip hop artists that did not distract but rather complimented the art work on display.
